Building on the success of their brilliant game High Tea, Wellcome Collection invited Caper to develop new game ideas with staff from across their organisation. Taking the research and development from Katy’s book, Museums At Play, we were able to combine our expertise and knowledge of trends in the wider sector with a range of dynamic workshop techniques to generate a full day of idea development.

The focus of this session was two-fold: using objects from the collection as stimuli, how could we generate new creative ideas, and how could we explore the opportunity for developing gaming as a part of Wellcome’s wider output – embedding it in the wider participatory programme.

Martha Henson, Multimedia Producer for Wellcome Trust said, “So pleased we used Caper for our recent workshop on games, they devised a stimulating and productive schedule for the day that attendees really enjoyed.”
